Music Theatre Wales

I’ve had lots of fun making trailers for Music Theatre Wales. The usual process is that I’m given one promotional image and I come up with a few ways to bring it to life.

The have actually proved to be great test beds. The’ve led to going down the routes of Terry Gilliam-style character animation, and playing with different displacement maps/turbulent displacements in After Effects. All of which have filtered into my personal work and loosened me up over time.
