2022 Commonwealth Games Handover Storyboards

This was a fun project to do. The team who were preparing the Birmingham end of the Commonwealth handover celebrations only had a few weeks to conceive, pitch, cast and rehearse.

I was brought in a few days into the project with only a map of Victoria Square and a rally of descriptions from the team. There weren’t even any images of the completed stadium in Australia.

I think the boards managed to reflect what the final footage. It was incredible to see what they managed to pull off and sold Birmingham to the world.
